Has a bachelor’s degree from
Saint Louis University and Graduated with her DVM from the University of
Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine. |

She was the 2011 recipient of
the Rolf Memorial Award for ethical and professional integrity, the student
surgery award for excellence in small animal surgery, and the Mary T.
Wernert Memorial award for a high standard of patient care. |
|
She was the previous
recipient of the Miss America Scholarship for leadership and promotion of
the veterinary profession through community service and academic
achievement, as well as the Virginia Busch scholarship for leadership,
integrity, and character. |

Her special interests include
pain management, care of working dogs, and dentistry. |
|
She has a Boston terrier
named Dash, a Shih Tzu named Loki, and a pond of Koi fish. |
|
Hobbies include: playing with
the dogs, agility, mountain climbing, kayaking, and watching good movies.
|
