	1970 Graduate of University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Veterinary Medicine
	Founded Kirkwood Animal Hospital in 1971
	Dr. Bendick is celebrating his 40th year in practice.

	Has worked 47 yrs in the veterinary Medicine. He started as a kennel boy and doctor’s assistant at Concord Animal Hospital in 1963.
	Attended Southwest High School in south St. Louis, where he met his wife Jan in 1962.

	Jan and Dr. B married in 1967 and have 4 children: Matt, Brian, Katherine, and Elizabeth, plus daughter-in-laws Camille & Abby, son-in-law Mike Sutton, and nine grandchildren.
	Matt is Head of Finance for Mettler-Toledo North America, in Columbus, OH, with wife Camille and 3 kids. Brian is a partner at Hearne & Bendick Law Firm in Clayton, with wife Abby and 2 kids. Katy is KAH’s business manager, with husband Mike and 4 kids. Lizzy is in school at Maryville, majoring in psychology and art.
	Hobbies: his farm, world missions, third world development, travel, and spending time with family (especially his nine grandchildren).
